Through engaging activities, small group work, role-playing, and action planning, participants will gain skills and tools to implement new individual giving strategies into their fundraising efforts. What previous participants say about ICL's Big Money for Small Organizations workshop: "The workshop was a wonderful opportunity to not only learn about fundraising itself, but also about similar organizations. It was a wonderful forum for us to bounce ideas off one another to truly learn what works and what doesn't." -Kathleen McNeill, Environmental Law Institute (Washington, DC) "We were given a blueprint of what is possible and ways to carry out a fundraising program that is not centered upon events. It is good that three people were there, because we will help bolster one another. Our Board has spent great energy on events, but none on personal solicitation, and I am sure we will be able to change this dynamic." -Phoebe Hopkins, Historic Trust of Berks County (PA) Organizational teams of two or more staff or board members are encouraged to attend this workshop together to support one another in implementing changes after the workshop.
